1 Scope

This document specifies the terminal technical requirements for the User Plane Based Mobile Positioning Service (SUPL) system, including the User Plane Mobile Positioning Service (SUPL) The technical requirements for the functions that the positioning platform (SLP) and positioning terminal (SET) need to support when implementing positioning services.

This document applies to the planning, design, development, implementation, and testing and verification of terminals that support SUPL 2.0.2 and above.

Provides a hierarchical structure for user information flow transmission and related controls.
