GB/T 44679-2024 is the Chinese national standard covering when a forklift must be taken out of service and when it must be scrapped — the load drop and the mast drift caused by internal leakage in the hydraulics, the full-load lowering speed, the cracks and plastic deformation in the frame, mast and forks, the conditions that end the truck's life altogether, and the test methods that separate a repairable fault from a truck that has to leave the fleet. First edition, under the China Machinery Industry Federation. In force from 1 April 2025. Issued on 29 September 2024, it has been in force since 1 April 2025.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Disable usage prohibition

The forklift cannot be used any longer because its safety performance does not meet the prescribed requirements or its emissions exceed the standards.

3.2 scrapping

The forklift ends its service life due to severe frame damage, or excessive emissions that fail to meet the prescribed requirements after repair, or reaching its service life.

4 Prohibition of technical conditions

4.1 When the maximum lowering speed of the forklift with full load exceeds 600 mm/s, it should be disabled.

4.2 For forklifts with a rated lifting capacity not exceeding 10,000 kg, if the load drop caused by internal leakage exceeds 100 mm within the first 10 minutes, Forklifts with a rated lifting capacity greater than 10,000 kg should be prohibited from use if the load drops by more than 10% within 10 minutes due to internal leakage.

200 mm, it should be disabled.

4.3 Forklifts with a maximum forward tilt of not less than 5° shall be disabled if the mast tilts forward more than 5° from the vertical position within 10 minutes due to internal leakage;

Forklifts with a maximum forward tilt of less than 5° should not be operated when the average tilt speed of the mast from the vertical position exceeds 0.5 (°)/min due to internal leakage. use.

4.4 When any of the following conditions occur in the main parts of the forklift, it should be disabled.

The frame, gantry, bridge or fork frame has plastic deformation or obvious cracks that affect the safe operation of the forklift. a) When the solid section fork encounters one of the following situations. b) There are cracks on the fork surface; 1)
