1 Scope

GB/T 44662-2024 specifies the protocol by which health management terminal equipment collects data and transmits it. The terminals are blood pressure monitors, glucose meters, scales, ECG patches and wearables, made by hundreds of manufacturers each with its own encoding, and a chronic disease management platform has to accept readings from all of them and know what a value means, in what units, taken at what time, with what quality flag. The standard sets the data collection - the types collected, the collection methods and the requirements on them - the transport protocol, with its basic requirements, data structure, encoding rules and communication process, and the basic technical requirements on the transmission, covering accuracy, timeliness, reliability and security. It takes effect on 1 April 2025.

This document specifies the data collection, data transmission protocol, basic and enhanced technical requirements for data transmission of health terminal devices. This document is applicable to the design and development of data collection and transmission protocols for health terminal devices.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
