Foreword

This document is equivalent to ISO 19894:2019 "Requirements and test methods for mobility trolleys".

1 Scope

This document specifies the general requirements, materials, temperature of parts in contact with the human body, structure, strength, torque and durability of walkers.

The ergonomics principles are established by the manufacturer, including the appearance, stability, forces on human tissue, packaging and test reports.

Information describing the test method.

This document applies to walking trolleys with a user mass of not less than 35 kg as daily walking aids.

This document is not applicable to wheeled mobility aids as specified in ISO 11199-2.
