1 Scope

This document specifies the classification of maritime autonomous radio equipment, as well as the classification of Group A maritime autonomous radio equipment, Group B maritime autonomous radio equipment, and Technical requirements for equipment and working modes.

This document applies to the design, production, application and management of maritime autonomous radio equipment.
