Scope

GB/T 44154-2024 is the English-translated version of 金属及其他无机覆盖层金属及无机覆盖层标识要求.

GB/T 44154-2024 is the Chinese national standard for the designation of metallic and other inorganic coatings, equivalent to ISO 27830:2017. It specifies the marking requirements used on technical documents for these coatings, so that coating designations are written in a unified way.

The standard covers the basic and additional information the purchaser should give the supplier, the designation of substrate, heat treatment condition and coating thickness and type, and sampling.

An appendix lists the identification symbols, with informative appendices for labelling examples and service condition numbers. It applies to electroplated, autocatalytically deposited and vapour deposited coatings, but not to thermal spray or enamel coatings.

Issued on 29 June 2024 and applicable from 1 January 2025, it replaces no earlier edition.

This document is equivalent to ISO 27830:2017 "Metallic and other inorganic coatings - Marking requirements for metallic and inorganic coatings".

1 Scope

This document specifies the marking requirements for metal and other inorganic coatings to develop unified technical documents and standardize the marking of coatings. file format.

This document applies to electroplated coatings, autocatalytically deposited coatings and vapor deposited coatings.

This document does not provide detailed technical requirements for specific covering layers. If necessary, please refer to the standard catalogue in the references.

This document is not applicable to thermal spray and enamel coatings.
