A mixed marking consisting of letters and numbers is printed or pasted on the core to reduce the risk of assembly errors, material mix-ups, and/or mix-ups of gapped cores on the assembly line.

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

This document is equivalent to IEC 61333:2019 "Marking of ferrite cores".

1 Scope

This document specifies the marking positions and marking coding system for ferrite cores. A mixed marking consisting of letters and numbers is printed or pasted on the core to reduce the risk of assembly errors, material mix-ups, and/or mix-ups of gapped cores on the assembly line. To avoid such errors, the inductor the marking of the factor AL value or the air gap length is particularly important and its coding system is specified in detail in this document.
