Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting:

This document is Part 2 of GB/T 43326 "Safety Requirements and Test Methods for Snow Throwers": GB/T 43326 has been released with Lower part:

---Part 1: Terminology and general tests;

---Part 2: Step-by-step snow blower;

---Part 3: Mount-type snow blower;

---Part 4: Additional requirements for countries and regions:

This document has been modified to adopt ISO 8437-2:2019 "Safety Requirements and Test Procedures for Snow Throwers Part 2: Step-by-Step Snow Throwers":

The technical differences between this document and ISO 8437-2:2019 and their reasons are as follows:

---Replaced ISO 12100 (see Chapter 3, 4:1) with normatively quoted GB/T 15706 to adapt to my country's technical conditions;

---Replaced ISO 8437-1:2019 with normatively cited GB/T 43326.1-2023 (see Chapter 3, 4:2:1, 4:3:1, 4:3:2, 4:4:1, 4:4:2, 5:2, 5:3), the degree of consistency between the two documents is modified to adapt to my country's technical conditions;

---Replaced ISO 8437-4:2019 with normatively cited GB/T 43326.4-2023 (see 4.2:2:5, 4:3:1, 4:8, 4:9, 4:10, 5:2, A:2:1), the degree of consistency between the two documents is modified to adapt to my country's technical conditions;

---Changed the shell diagram of the snow throwing device (see Figure 3) to be consistent with GB/T 43326.3-2023;

---Replaced ISO 3411 (see 4.7:2) with normatively cited GB/T 8420 to adapt to my country's technical conditions:

The following editorial changes have been made to this document:

---In order to coordinate with the existing standards, the name of the standard is changed to "Safety Requirements and Test Methods for Snow Throwers Part 2: Step-Throwing Machines" Snow Machine":

Introduction

Due to the particularity of the use environment and working objects of snow blowers, their products need to be highly adaptable and safe: my country's snow blower Production and usage are increasing year by year, so there is an urgent need to formulate safety standards for snow throwers to protect the interests of consumers and ensure their use:

the safety of the person:

GB/T 43326 is a Category C standard specified in GB/T 15706, that is, for step-type snow throwers and mount-type snow throwers powered by internal combustion engines:

Snow machines stipulate detailed safety requirements and test methods: GB/T 43326 is related to the following enterprises, institutions, individuals and related snow throwers:

Interested organizations and groups:

---Snow blower manufacturing company;

---Health and safety agencies (regulatory agencies, accident prevention agencies, market surveillance agencies), etc:;

---Snow blower consumers and users;

---Service providers, such as machine maintenance:

GB/T 43326 is intended to be composed of four parts: These four parts cooperate with each other to form the necessary and complete safety technical requirements for snow throwers:

Sum test method:

---Part 1: Terminology and general tests: The purpose is to provide relevant stakeholders with the technology of step-by-step snow throwers and mount-on snow throwers:

language and general test methods:

---Part 2: Step-by-step snow blower: The purpose is to provide relevant stakeholders with specific safety requirements and tests for step-by-step snow blowers:

method:

---Part 3: Mount-type snow blower: The purpose is to provide relevant stakeholders with specific safety requirements and testing for mounted snow throwers:

method:

---Part 4: Additional requirements for countries and regions: The purpose is to provide relevant stakeholders with relevant information on different countries and regions:

Snow blower safety requirements and test methods Part 2: Step-by-step snow blower
