Introduction
Urban rail transit operation safety assessment is an important means to ensure the safety of urban rail transit operation.
It is very important to carry out safety assessment activities in an orderly manner before operation, before formal operation, and during operation, and to clarify the technical requirements of safety assessment.
GB/T 42334 aims to establish the technical basis for safety assessment of different types of urban rail transit systems and is intended to consist of three parts. composition.
Part 1: Subway and light rail. The purpose is to specify the basic technical requirements for the safe operation of subway and light rail urban rail transit.
The requirements are met and testing methods are provided to support the implementation of operational safety assessment work.
Part 2: Monorail. The purpose is to specify the basic technical requirements for the safety of monorail urban rail transit operations and provide test methods.
The law supports the implementation of operational safety assessment work.
Part 3: Tram. The purpose is to specify the basic technical requirements for the safety of urban rail transit operations of trams.
Develop testing methods to support operational safety assessment work.
Specification for safety assessment of urban rail transit operations Part 2: Single Track
1 Scope
This document specifies the safety assessment of monorail transit projects before initial operation, safety assessment before formal operation and safety assessment during operation. Basic requirements.
This document is applicable to the initial pre-operation safety assessment, pre-formal operation safety assessment and safety assessment during operation of straddle-type monorail transportation projects.
Evaluation, the operational safety assessment of suspended monorail transportation engineering projects can be used as a reference.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 monorail transit
A medium-capacity rail transit system that uses electric traction trains running on a single track beam.
Note. According to the positional relationship between the vehicle and the track beam, monorail transportation is divided into straddle-type monorail transportation and suspended monorail transportation.
3.2 straddle monorail transit
A type of monorail transportation. The vehicle uses rubber wheels to straddle the rail beam. In addition to the running wheels, there are There are guide wheels and stabilizing wheels on the side, which are clamped on both sides of the track beam to ensure that the vehicle runs safely and smoothly along the track.
