Scope

GB/T 42239.1-2022 is the English-translated version of 洗涤用酶制剂 第1部分:碱性蛋白酶.

GB/T 42239.1-2022 is the first part of the Chinese national standard on enzyme preparations for detergents, and it deals with alkaline protease.

It sets the product classification, in liquid and solid dosage forms, with the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging, transport, storage and shelf-life provisions, and fixes the activity unit: one unit is the activity of 1 g of solid enzyme powder, or 1 mL of liquid enzyme, that hydrolyses casein to yield 1 µg of tyrosine in 1 min under the stated temperature and pH, expressed in U/g or U/mL.

It applies to alkaline protease made for the detergent industry by microbial fermentation and purification. Its introduction states that GB/T 42239 is planned in two parts, alkaline protease and lipase. Issued on 30 December 2022, it has applied since that same date.

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.

This document is part 1 of GB/T 42239 "Enzyme preparations for washing". GB/T 42239 has issued the following parts.

--- Part 1: Alkaline protease;

--- Part 2: Lipase.

Introduction

The detergent industry is one of the important application fields of enzyme preparations. GB/T 42239 "Enzyme Preparations for Detergents" is formulated, which is for domestic detergents The product industry regulates the market segment of enzyme-containing cleaning products, guides companies in the industry to innovate and develop new products, and prevents unscrupulous companies from cheating consumption It is of great significance to promote the rapid and healthy development of the detergent industry.

GB/T 42239 "Enzyme preparations for washing" is proposed to be composed of the following two parts.

--- Part 1: Alkaline protease, the purpose is to establish the classification and technical requirements of alkaline protease for washing;

1 Scope

This document specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of alkaline protease for washing. storage and shelf life.

This document is applicable to the alkaline protease used in the detergent industry produced by microbial fermentation, purification and other processes.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Alkaline protease

It is an enzyme that can cut the peptide bond inside the protein molecule under alkaline reaction conditions, and turn the protein molecule into a small molecule polypeptide and amino acid.

3.2 alkaline protease activity

The ability of proteases to catalyze the hydrolysis of proteins under alkaline conditions.

Note: Alkaline protease activity is expressed in alkaline protease activity units, 1g solid enzyme powder (or 1mL liquid enzyme), under certain temperature and pH conditions, 1min Hydrolyze casein to produce 1 µg tyrosine, which is 1 unit of enzyme activity, expressed in U/g or U/mL.

4 Product categories

According to the product form, it is divided into liquid dosage form and solid dosage form.
