3.1 rapid detection method

Compared with the reference method, it has the characteristics of less detection time, easy manual or automatic operation, miniaturization, and low detection cost. Alternative methods that meet the appropriate needs of users.

3.2 rapid detection product

Carry out commercial packaging for the main or key components of the rapid detection method (3.1), with clear application objects, necessary detection devices, supporting reagents and sample pretreatment methods can be used in a non-laboratory environment and a portable detection system.

3.3 Screening method

A method used to detect the presence or absence of a substance or group of substances at a concentration level of interest.

Note: The detection results obtained by such methods are usually qualitative results or semi-quantitative results, and have the ability to efficiently process a large number of samples.

3.4 Reference method

With clear and strict testing conditions and procedures, capable of measuring one or more characteristic values of substances, used in conjunction with rapid testing methods method (3.1) for comparison.

NOTE: This method has demonstrated accuracy and other performance commensurate with the intended use. In principle, the reference method is usually a conventional national standard method or Industry standard method.

3.5 Qualitative method

3.6 Quantitative method

A method for the quantitative determination of a property of a substance.

Note: It is usually expressed in numerical values in appropriate units.
