GB/T 4214 "Household and similar electrical appliances noise test method" series of national standards adopt IEC 60704 series of international standards.

This document is applicable to heat storage indoor heaters with forced convection output designed to be placed on the ground, wall-mounted or built-in for household and similar purposes.

1.1.2 Types of noise

The methods listed in GB/T 6881.2, GB/T 6881.3 and GB/T 3767 are suitable for measuring the noise emitted by thermal storage indoor heaters.

1.1.3 The size of the sound source

The method specified in GB/T 3767 is suitable for sound sources of any size (only limited by the available test environment). When using GB/T 6881.2

When using GB/T 6881.3 and GB/T 6881.3, it should be noted that the maximum size of the heat storage indoor heater under test meets the requirements of GB/T 6881.2 and GB/T 6881.3.

1.3 The specified requirements.

The measurement frequency range of the sound power of a thermal storage indoor heater includes at least an octave band with a center frequency of 63 Hz to 8000 Hz.

Note 101.In many cases, the 63Hz octave band contributes little to the A-weighted sound pressure level.

Note 102.When measuring the 63Hz octave band, special attention should be paid to the influence of the test room.

The explicit requirements for noise emission values are outside the scope of this document.
