Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting is required.

This document is Part 17 of GB/T 4214 "Test methods for noise from household and similar electrical appliances". GB/T 4214 has been published the following parts.

This document is modified to adopt IEC 60704-2-17:2020 "Test specification for the determination of airborne noise from household and similar electrical appliances" Part 2-17.Particular requirements for dry cleaning robots.

The technical differences between this document and IEC 60704-2-17:2020 and the reasons are as follows.

a) IEC 60704-3 (see 1.2, 1.101) is replaced by the normative reference GB/T 4214.10-2021, GB/T 38048.1-2020 replaced IEC TS 62885-1 (see 3.101, 6.5.1) to adapt to my country's technical conditions;

b) Based on the actual test situation, the requirements for measurement time of different test rooms were refined and the expression was adjusted (see 6.4.3);

c) According to the structure of GB/T 4214.1-2017 and the requirements of this document, the requirements for sound pressure level measurement have been improved (see 7.4.1);

d) In accordance with the structure of GB/T 4214.1-2017 and the requirements of this document, the requirements for reporting in record content have been improved (see 9.14).

The following editorial changes were made to this document.

--To be consistent with the existing standard series, the standard name will be changed to "Test Methods for Noise of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances - Dry Cleaning Machines" Special Requirements for Robots;

--Deleted Note 101 in 6.5.1.

Introduction

GB/T 4214 "Test methods for noise of household and similar electrical appliances" series of standards adopts IEC 60704 series of international standards and is divided into the following part.

--General requirements (GB/T 4214.1). The purpose is to provide general requirements for noise test methods for various products.

--Special requirements for vacuum cleaners (GB/T 4214.2). The purpose is to put forward special requirements for the noise test method of vacuum cleaners.

--Special requirements for dishwashers (GB/T 4214.3). The purpose is to put forward special requirements for the noise test method of dishwashers.

--Special requirements for washing machines and centrifugal dehydrators (GB/T 4214.4). The purpose is to Special requirements are placed on acoustic testing methods.

Special requirements are put forward for the noise test methods of grills, microwave ovens and their combination appliances.

--Special requirements for fans (GB/T 4214.9). The purpose is to put forward special requirements for the noise test method of fans.

--Procedure for determining and testing the noise level (GB/T 4214.10). The purpose is to provide procedures for determining and testing the noise level of all products.

General requirements for indication.

--Special requirements for electric food processing appliances (GB/T 4214.11). The purpose is to test the noise of electric food processing appliances.

--Special requirements for fan heaters (GB/T 4214.12). The purpose is to propose a noise test method for fan heaters.

GB/T 4214 series standards (except GB/T 4214.1 and GB/T 4214.10) are equivalent to or modified to IEC 60704-2 series standards.

GB/T 4214.1-2017 is modified to adopt IEC 60704-1:2010.This document is used in conjunction with GB/T 4214.1-2017.

GB/T 4214.10-2021 is equivalent to IEC 60704-3:2006, which is the basis for the determination and verification of other documents in the entire series of standards.

The verification of the noise level provides a basis.

The parts marked "Applicable" in this document indicate that the corresponding provisions in GB/T 4214.1-2017 are applicable to this document;

For the part marked as "replaced", the provisions in this document shall prevail; for the part marked as "added" in this document, it means that in addition to complying with GB/T 4214.1-2017, the provisions added in this document shall also be complied with; the part of this document marked as "modified" means that the corresponding provisions of GB/T 4214.1-2017 are modified.

- manually operated vacuum cleaners; and

1.1.2 Noise Type

The methods listed in GB/T 3767-2016 and ISO 3743-2:2018 can be used to measure the noise emitted by electric dry cleaning robots.

1.1.3 Size of the sound source

The methods listed in GB/T 3767-2016 are applicable to sound sources of any size. The limits on sound source size are in ISO 3743-2:2018.

Although the dry cleaning robot itself is a relatively small sound source, the floor area covered during the measurement constitutes a relatively small sound source.

1.2 Measurement quantity

This document describes a method to determine the noise emitted by a dry cleaning robot under normal operating conditions on carpets and hard floors.
