Scope

GB/T 42138-2022 is the English-translated version of 流程型智能制造能力建设指南.

GB/T 42138-2022 is the Chinese national guideline for building intelligent manufacturing capability in process industries.

It gives the overall method and then the same five capabilities twice over, once along the life cycle and once along the system levels: data collection, interconnection and intercommunication, data visualisation, data analysis and decision optimisation.

Its definitions set out what process manufacturing means - adding value to raw materials batchwise or continuously by mixing, separating, pulverising, heating and other physical or chemical means, as in petroleum, chemicals, papermaking, metallurgy, power, light industry, pharmaceuticals and environmental protection - and note that the system levels run from equipment, unit and workshop to factory, enterprise and collaboration, the equipment level usually not being subdivided in process plants. Issued on 30 December 2022, it has applied since 1 July 2023.

1 Scope

This document provides guidance on the capacity building of process-based intelligent manufacturing, and gives the overall method, as well as dimensions such as life cycle and system level. Suggestions for smart manufacturing capacity building.

This document is applicable to process-based manufacturing enterprises, as well as providing intelligent manufacturing capacity building consulting, training and implementation services for process-based manufacturing enterprises. service personnel and institutions.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 In order to achieve

the goal of intelligent manufacturing, the enterprise manages and comprehensively applies the degree and improvement process of personnel, technology, resources, and manufacturing.

3.2 Process manufacturing

Adding value to raw materials in a batch or continuous manner by mixing, separating, pulverizing, heating and other physical or chemical methods of raw materials manufacturing mode.

Note: Usually includes various raw material processing and energy industries such as petroleum, chemical industry, papermaking, metallurgy, electric power, light industry, pharmaceuticals, environmental protection, etc.
