This document is part 1 of GB/T 42124.1 "Geometric Product Specification (GPS) Dimensions and Geometric Tolerances of Molded Parts".

GB/T 42124.1 has issued the following parts.

--- Part 1.Vocabulary.

This document is modified to adopt ISO 8062-1.2007 "Geometric Product Specifications (GPS) Dimensional and Geometric Tolerances of Molded Parts Part 1

Sub. Vocabulary".

Compared with ISO 8062-1.2007, this document has made the following structural adjustments.

--- Added the chapter "Normative References";

--- The content of "Scope" is adjusted to Chapter 1 (see Chapter 1).

The technical differences between this document and ISO 8062-1.2007 and their reasons are as follows.

--- Increased the scope of application of this document (see Chapter 1) to meet the requirements of my country's standardization document drafting rules.

The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

--- Since ISO 3134-4.1985 is abolished, the source of 3.2 is deleted;

--- Added Note 3 of 6.1;

--- Appendix A of ISO 8062-1.2007 has been rewritten.

In order to better align the product geometric technical specification standards of molded parts dimensions and geometric tolerances in my country with the latest ISO GPS,

To make various industries and enterprises of my country's molded parts more competitive in the international market, SAC/TC240 plans to formulate GB/T 6414 "Product Geometry

Technical Specification (GPS) Dimensional and Geometric Tolerances for Molded Parts".

GB/T 42124.1 is intended to be composed of 4 parts, each of which is interrelated and independent, which together constitute the size and geometry of molded parts.
