Compared with ISO 43.2016, this document has the following structural adjustments.

a) The first paragraph of Chapter 4 corresponds to part of the scope of Chapter 1 in ISO 43.2016;

b) Appendix A corresponds to ISO 43.2016, Chapter 4, Paragraph 3, "Table of Imperial Metric Units for Aircraft Headliner Types".

1 Scope

This document specifies the shape and dimensions of aircraft roof pads and the minimum surrounding space for the roof pad.

This document applies to the design and use of aircraft roof pads.

4 Requirements

There are seven types of aircraft roof pads, each of which specifies its shape, size and minimum surrounding space.

The aircraft roof pad shall conform to the shape specified in Figure 1, as well as the dimensions, minimum surrounding space and corresponding bearing loads specified in Table 1.imperial aircraft
