Scope

GB/T 42030-2022 is the English-translated version of 智能制造 射频识别系统 超高频读写器应用编程接口.

GB/T 42030-2022 fixes the application programming interface between a UHF RFID reader and its client software, setting out the rules and expressions of the interaction between them, and clause 1 applies it to the design, production, testing and use of such readers and clients.

Clause 5.1 states that a client may be connected to several readers at once while a reader may be connected to only one client at a time.

Its contents list covers the data types and then the interface families: connection access, device configuration including registers, antenna ports and firmware upgrade, tag operations - single and cyclic identify, read, write, erase, lock and destroy - trigger signals over GPIO, and security management with random numbers, authentication and key and password update. Issued 14 October 2022, applied from 1 May 2023.
