GB/T 41824-2022 is the English-translated version of 核电厂安全重要物项用金属材料质量管理规范.
GB/T 41824-2022 sets the quality management requirements for the metallic materials used in items important to safety in nuclear power plants.

1 Scope
This document specifies the design, assessment, procurement, manufacture, acceptance, storage and identification of metallic materials for items important to safety in nuclear power plants quality management requirements.
This document applies to the quality management of metal materials used in nuclear power plant mechanical items important to safety, including profiles, plates, pipes, bars, wires materials, forgings, castings, etc. The quality management of metal materials used for other items important to safety shall be implemented by reference.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Item
A generic term for a structure, system or component.
3.2 items important to safety
Items that are part of a safety combination, or whose failure or malfunction may result in radiation exposure to plant personnel or the public.

A written statement certifying that the material meets the specified requirements.
3.4 Confirm
Activities that certify in writing that documents, processes and procedures, item or personnel assessments meet specified requirements.
3.5 Operating unit owner
Units within the territory of the People's Republic of China that apply for or hold a nuclear facility safety license and may operate and operate nuclear facilities.
3.6 quality certification document
A document that verifies that the material meets the specified requirements.
Note: The quality certification documents include the actual results of all required tests and inspections.
