Scope
GB/T 41807-2022 is the English-translated version of 信息安全技术 声纹识别数据安全要求.
GB/T 41807-2022 sets the security requirements that data processors have to meet when they handle voiceprint recognition data.
It covers collection, storage and transmission, use, provision, disclosure and deletion, with separate rules in those clauses for identification applications, non-identification applications and scientific experiments and tests, and it defines the data subject, the speech sample, the voiceprint and the voiceprint speech sample.
Its contents list also covers typical scenarios and typical risks, the basic safety requirements, an informative analysis of voiceprint data security risks in Appendix A and an example of an informed consent form in Appendix B. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 35273, GB/T 40660 and GB/T 41479. Issued on 14 October 2022, it has applied since 1 May 2023.
