1 Scope

This document specifies the following.

--- Functional architecture of the biometric identification system on the card;

---S1 type (in full compliance with GB/T 14916) and the definition of S2 type card biometric identification system implementation;

--- the sensor type of the biometric system on the card;

---Minimum requirements for the biometric identification system on the card regarding the following.

- Discrimination (eg. accuracy criteria for biometric identification);

- interface;

- Power Options.

The following aspects are outside the scope of this document.

---Store on the card and compare the biometric features outside the card;

--- Workload collaborative realization;

--- Detailed description and structure of individual components.

This document gives a functional architectural description of the biometric system on the card, and describes how to utilize information from other standards

Interface mapping of existing commands and data structures.

This document applies to the design, production, testing and use of biometric identification cards.
