1 Scope
This document specifies the test instruments and test methods for the determination of the organic content of thermal insulation materials for buildings.
This document is suitable for the determination of organic content in inorganic materials, such as thermal insulation materials with or without veneers containing a small amount of organic components.
This document does not apply to the determination of the organic content of materials containing carbohydrates and/or carbonates and sulfates.
This document does not apply to the determination of the organic content of products such as adhesives, veneers and coatings.
