1 Scope

This document specifies the minimum requirements for weather balloons and describes their test methods.

This document applies to weather balloons made of natural latex or a combination of natural latex and synthetic latex.

This document applies to the following two types of balloons.

--- Category 2.Weather balloons made by the rotation method.
