Scope

GB/T 41726-2022 is the English-translated version of 人参单体皂苷鉴定及检测方法.

GB/T 41726-2022 is the Chinese national standard for identifying and measuring 25 of the ginsenosides most often handled as single compounds, among them 20(S)-protopanaxadiol, panaxadiol, ginsenosides Rg1, Re, Rb1, Rb2, Rb3, Rc, Rd, F1, F2, Rf, Rh1, Rg2, Rh2, CK and Ro, pseudoginsenoside F11 and ginsenoside Rg3.

It gives their basic data and structural formulae and the principle of each technique used, melting point, specific optical rotation, thin-layer chromatography, mass spectrometry, nuclear magnetic resonance and high performance liquid chromatography, together with the environmental conditions, reagents and instruments needed.

Sensory, physical and chemical constant, qualitative and quantitative methods follow, with carbon-13 NMR data and an HPLC method in the appendices. Issued on 14 October 2022, it has applied since 1 May 2023.
