This document is revised and adopted ISO 16894.2009 "Definition, Classification and Specification of Wood-based Oriented Strand Board".

Compared with ISO 16894.2009, this document has many adjustments in structure, and the comparison list of structure number changes between the two documents

The technical differences between this document and ISO 16894.2009 and their reasons are as follows.

--- Replace ISO 9426, ISO 9427, ISO 12460-1, ISO 16572,

ISO 16978, ISO 16979, ISO 16983, ISO 16984, ISO 16987, ISO 16998 (see Chapter 7), no relevant documents

There is a consistent correspondence. It is more suitable for my country's national conditions and is convenient for practical operation.

--- Replace ISO 17064.2004 with GB/T 18259-2018, and add the definition of fine surface oriented strand board (F-OSB)

(see Chapter 3). Because GB/T 18259-2018 includes ISO 17064.2004 terms, and there are already fine surface orientations in China

1 Scope

This document specifies the classification, specification limits, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of OSB.

This document applies to oriented strand board.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18259-2018 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
