This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents"

There are technical differences between this document and ISO 22327.2018.

1 Scope

This document provides guidelines for implementing a community early warning system for landslide hazards.

This document applies to communities at risk of landslides. This document does not deal with secondary events of landslide hazards.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in ISO 22300 and the following apply to this document.

3.1

debris flow massmovement

The movement of a substance such as soil, rock, mud, snow or a mixture along a slope under the action of gravity.

3.2

landslide

Under the action of gravity, the geological body slides downward and outward along the geological weak surface.

Note. Landslides usually have a dual meaning, referring to the process of gravity sliding, or the geological body and the accumulation formed by gravity sliding.

3.3

Individuals, groups, or infrastructures in a community have characteristics or conditions that make them likely to be damaged by hazards.

3.4

early warning

Before an emergency occurs, according to the laws summarized in the past or the possible precursors observed, the public and relevant departments are issued an emergency response.

Signals, report dangerous situations, so as to avoid the occurrence of hazards without knowledge or preparation, so as to minimize the hazards caused by

loss behavior.
