1 Scope

This document specifies the monitoring of hazardous installations, the implementation and operation of the monitoring process.

This document applies to the monitoring of hazardous installations by organizations.

3 Terms and Definitions

ISO 22300 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

A systematic investigation of relevant, queryable information obtained during monitoring and its application to actual or planned systems.

The individual or legal entity responsible for monitoring the receipt, integration, generation, analysis, transfer and output of data.

NOTE. A representative of the monitoring process or monitoring system owner, such as a subcontractor with monitoring responsibility, may be designated.
