Scope
GB/T 41480-2022 (Smoke leakage tests for door and shutter assemblies) is available as an English-translated PDF.
GB/T 41480-2022 — This document specifies the measurement of normal temperature (cold) flue gas and medium temperature (hot) flue gas from a door or rolling shutter under the specified test temperature and differential pressure conditions. Test method for the rate of flue gas leakage from side to side. This document is applicable to smoke leakage rate testing of doors and roller shutters of various structures that impede the spread of fire smoke.

3.1
ambienttemperature
The average air temperature is the ambient temperature of (20+/-10)°C.
3.2
mediumtemperature
The average air temperature is the ambient temperature of (200 +/- 20) °C.
3.3
Smoke leak smokeleakage
Flue gas leakage rate around a closed door or shutter at standard temperature and pressure.
Note. The amount of smoke leakage is represented by the symbol qa, and the unit is cubic meters per hour (m3/h).
3.4
Differentialpressure
During the test, the static pressure difference between the inside and outside of the test device (that is, on both sides of the door or shutter in the closed state).
Note. The pressure is represented by the symbol p, and the unit is Pascal (Pa).
3.5
standard state
Dry air is in the state of temperature 20°C and pressure 101325Pa.
