Scope

GB/T 41477-2022 is the English-translated version of 激光熔覆修复金属零部件力学性能试验方法.

GB/T 41477-2022 gives the methods for testing the mechanical properties of a metal part repaired by laser cladding. It sets the basic requirements, the preparation of the specimens - where they are cut so that the clad layer, the interface and the base metal are all represented - the test methods and the test report.

It applies to the tensile, impact and fatigue testing of laser clad repairs, the evidence on which a repaired part is accepted back into service. Repair shops, laboratories and the owners of the equipment being repaired use it. Issued on 15 April 2022, it has applied since 1 August 2022.
