Scope

GB/T 4133-2025 is the English-translated version of 机床莫氏圆锥强制传动.

GB/T 4133-2025 is the Chinese national standard for the positive drive of Morse tapers on machine tools, and it is equivalent to ISO 5413:1993. It sets out the dimensions of the drive features for both external and internal Morse cones, while the other dimensions of the Morse taper remain governed by ISO 296.

The structure follows an introduction, scope, normative references, terms and definitions, and a dimensions clause. Compared with the 1984 edition, the dimensions that duplicated ISO 296 were removed and the tolerances for b and b1 were changed.

Issued on 31 October 2025 and applicable from 1 May 2026, it replaces GB/T 4133-1984.

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document replaces GB/T 4133-1984 "Forced Transmission Types and Dimensions of Morse Taper Cones". Compared with GB/T 4133-1984, the main differences are... The technological changes are as follows.

---The dimensions specified in ISO 296 have been removed, and the tolerances for b and b1 have been changed (see Table 1, 1984 edition).

This document is equivalent to ISO 5413:1993 "Morse bevel drive for machine tools".

This document specifies the dimensions for Morse external and internal cone forced drives.

Other dimensions of the Morse taper are in accordance with ISO 296.
