Scope
GB/T 41193-2021 is the English-translated version of 沼肥肥效评估方法.
GB/T 41193-2021 is the Chinese national method for assessing how well biogas fertilizer works in the field. It covers the design of the trial, the choice of the trial site, field management, the evaluation of fertilizer efficiency and the writing of the report.
It applies to solid and liquid biogas fertilizer made by complete anaerobic fermentation of organic wastes such as livestock manure and straw.
A normative annex lists what must be recorded during the trial, and another sets the intrinsic quality indicators and test methods for specific crops, drawing on methods for protein, starch, soluble sugars, tea polyphenols, capsaicinoids, ginsenosides and cotton fibre properties.
It gives field trials of biogas fertilizer a common basis, so that results can be compared. It was issued on 31 December 2021 and has applied since 1 July 2022.
