This document has made the following minimal editorial changes.

--- Correct the test temperature "-5°C" for printing errors in 6.7.3 to "-20°C".

1 Scope

This document specifies the minimum safety requirements for alpine ski poles and travel ski poles, and describes the test methods for inspection in accordance with this requirement.

This document applies to alpine ski poles and travel ski poles with a total length (lT) in the following range.

--- Group A, lT>=1050mm (adult ski poles);

---Group B, 1050mm >lT>=700mm (youth ski poles);

---C group, lT< 700mm (children's ski poles).
