This document is Part 1 of GB/T 40923 "Ski Snowboard Fixer Installation Area".

GB/T 40923 has released the following parts.

---Part 1.Requirements and test methods for non-insert ski snowboards;

This document uses the redrafting method to modify and adopt ISO 10958-1.1998 "Skiing Snowboard Fixer Installation Area Part 1.Without Insert

Requirements and test methods for skiing snowboards.

The technical differences between this part and ISO 10958-1.1998 and the reasons are as follows.

---Regarding normative reference documents, this section has made adjustments with technical differences to adapt to the latest editions of international standards.

The situation is collectively reflected in Chapter 2 "Normative Reference Documents", and the specific adjustments are as follows.

* ISO 10045.2017 is used instead of ISO 10045.1991.

Introduction

1 Scope

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1

Insert

Reusable threaded attachment points that are permanently fixed to the snowboard during manufacture.

Note. It is used to install the retainer on the snowboard, and the installation mode is often determined by the manufacturing mode of the specific retainer.

3.2

Leash

One end is connected to a board or a fixture, and the other end is connected to a rope-like device on the skier's leg.

4 Technical requirements for the fixture installation area

4.1 Identification of the installation point

The ski snowboard manufacturer shall mark the installation point with a clearly visible and indelible mark on the surface of the ski snowboard.

---The center of the front part of the snowboard fixed area;

---The center of the back of the snowboard fixed area.

If there is a deviation from the technical requirements specified in 4.2 and 4.3, it should be clearly marked on the surface of the snowboard.

4.2 Length of the holder installation area

The length of the fixture installation area forward and backward from each installation point should be at least 110mm (see Figure 1).
