Scope

GB/T 40602.1-2021 is the English-translated version of 天线及接收系统的无线电干扰 第1部分:基础测量 天线方向图的室内远场测量方法.

GB/T 40602.1-2021, the first part of the GB/T 40602 series on radio interference from antennas and reception systems, describes how to measure the radiation pattern of an antenna in the far field of a microwave anechoic chamber.

It sets the measurement conditions, including the state of the antenna under test and the coordinate system, the requirements for the measurement environment and site, and the measuring system with its mechanical, radio frequency and control subsystems and software.

It then gives the measurement method, from parameters and procedure to data analysis, pattern representation and measurement uncertainty, followed by the measurement report and safety protection.

It applies within the working frequency band of the laboratory and the quiet zone of the chamber. It was issued on 11 October 2021 and has applied since 1 May 2022.

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document is the first part of GB/T 40602 "Radio Interference from Antennas and Receiving Systems". GB/T 40602 has been released to Lower part.

---Part 1: Indoor far-field measurement method for basic measurement of antenna pattern;

---Part 2: Basic measurement method of indoor planar near-field measurement of high-gain antenna pattern.

Certain contents of this document may involve patents. The issuing agency of this document is not responsible for identifying patents.

Introduction

The radio interference of the antenna and the receiving system is based on the "antenna" (invisible antenna-wireless receiving system) as the entry point to establish the antenna and radio The electromagnetic compatibility standard of the receiving system covers antennas, measurement sites and wireless receiving systems.

GB/T 40602 "Radio Interference from Antennas and Receiving Systems" is intended to consist of the following parts.

---Part 1: Basic indoor far-field measurement method of antenna pattern. The purpose is to specify the antenna radiation pattern (below Referred to as the radiation pattern) is a method of measuring the elevated far field in a microwave anechoic chamber.

---Part 2: Basic measurement method of indoor planar near-field measurement of high-gain antenna pattern. The purpose is to specify high-gain antennas The planar near-field scanning method is a method for measuring the antenna pattern in a microwave anechoic chamber.

---Part 3: Field measurement method for confirming the performance of the compact field. The purpose is to specify the tight field shielding effectiveness, static field radiation characteristics Measurement methods for performance, phase characteristics, and cross-polarization performance.

---Part 4: The electromagnetic compatibility test method of the integrated radio module electronic equipment of the wireless receiving system. The purpose is to provide for EMC testing requirements and testing methods for electronic equipment with integrated wireless modules such as industrial, scientific, medical, automotive, and household appliances.

The above four parts and the previously published GB/T 38889-2020 on vehicle antennas and systems together form the antenna and receiving system. A unified radio interference standard system.

1 Scope

This document describes the measurement method of the antenna radiation pattern (hereinafter referred to as the radiation pattern) in the microwave anechoic chamber and other elevated far fields.

This document is applicable to the working frequency band not exceeding the working frequency band of the laboratory, the far-field distance condition meets the laboratory test distance, and the measurement movement range The antenna radiation pattern measurement in the quiet zone of the microwave anechoic chamber.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB 8702-2014 and GB/T 14733.10-2008 apply to this document.

3.1 Coordinate system

A system that includes an antenna coordinate system, a turntable coordinate system, and a site coordinate system.

Note 1: Generally, the antenna coordinate system is selected as the measurement coordinate system. If another coordinate system is selected, it needs to be transformed from the antenna coordinate system to another measurement or working coordinate system As long as their relative orientation and position are known.

Note 2: With this coordinate system, the measured antenna parameters have nothing to do with the installation or orientation of the antenna.

3.2 Indoor far field

An indoor measurement site where antenna measurements are performed in a microwave dark room and under far-field conditions.

3.3 Linearly-polarized antenna

In the direction of maximum gain, it can be used as an antenna that radiates linearly polarized electromagnetic waves when transmitting, or when receiving, the antenna terminal can obtain the maximum available power.

The direction of the incoming rays polarizes the electromagnetic wave of the antenna.

3.4 Circularly-polarized antenna

In the direction of maximum gain, it can be used as an antenna that radiates circularly polarized electromagnetic waves when transmitting, or when receiving, the antenna terminal can obtain the maximum available power.

The direction of the rate of incidence of circularly polarized electromagnetic waves of the antenna.
