GB/T 40375-2021 is the English-translated version of 金属连接（紧固）结构耐蚀作业技术规范.

GB/T 40375-2021 is a technical specification for corrosion control work on metal connection and fastening structures, that is, structures formed by connecting or fastening two or more metal members, such as flange, threaded, riveted, expansion and welded joints.

It classifies these structures and their service environments and sets requirements for recyclable coating materials, the corrosion-resistant coating operation, inspection, acceptance, and safety and environmental protection.

Normative annexes give test methods for the application temperature of the coating material and for its recycling rate, and an informative annex provides a record form for the acceptance of the work.

It applies to corrosion control engineering operations on these structures. It was issued on 20 August 2021 and has applied since 1 March 2022.

1 Scope

This document specifies the classification of metal connection (fastening) structure and service environment, recyclable coating materials, corrosion-resistant coating operations, inspections, and inspections. Receipt, safety and environmental protection requirements.

This document is applicable to metal connection (fastening) structural corrosion control engineering operations.
