1 Scope

This document applies to electric toothbrushes powered by batteries.

This document does not apply to oral care appliances such as electric interdental brushes.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB 39669-2020 apply to this document.

Electric toothbrush

It is powered by a battery, and the brush head is equipped with a wire to clean the surface of the teeth.

Fixed or detachable ends of electric toothbrushes with brush filaments.

4.1 Electric toothbrushes are divided into adult electric toothbrushes and children electric toothbrushes according to the applicable groups.

4.2 Electric toothbrush heads are divided into detachable heads and non-detachable heads according to the assembly method.
