1 Scope

This document describes the real-time fluorescent polymerase chain reaction (PCR) quarantine identification method for the plant pathogenic fungus Verticillium.

4 Basic information

Chinese name. Verticillium. Scientific name. Verticillium Nees.

Verticillium belongs to Fungi, Ascomycota, Pezizomycotina, Faecomycetes (Sordariomycetes) in the small irregular spherical shell family (Plectosphaerelaceae).

Transmission route. Verticillium pathogens are mainly spread by seeds, but also by diseased bodies, soil, wind, irrigation water and insects.

5 Principles of Identification

According to the DNA sequence characteristics of Verticillium pathogens and the principle of real-time fluorescent PCR, the designed primers or probes are used to treat Verticillium diseases Bacteria are tested and identified.
