1 Scope

This standard stipulates the breed source and characteristics, body shape and appearance characteristics, adult weight and body size, production performance, measurement methods and species of Shawutou pigs. Use basic requirements.

3 Variety sources and characteristics

Sha Wutou pigs were originally produced in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, and are now mainly distributed in Haimen City, Jiangsu Province and Chongming District, Shanghai. Sauve head pig has breeding Excellent performance, good muscle quality, and strong adaptability.

4 Body shape and appearance characteristics

The coat of Shawutou pig is mainly black, and some pigs have white hair on the nose, line and tail tip.
