Introduction

The structure of safety standards in the machinery sector is as follows.

1) Type A standards (safety basic standards), giving the basic concepts, design principles and general characteristics applicable to all machinery.

2) Class B standard (safety general standard), involving one (or more) safety features or one (or more) types of machinery with a wide range of use

---B2 category, safety devices (such as two-hand control devices, interlocking devices, pressure-sensitive devices and protective devices) standards.

This standard belongs to the Type C standard specified by ISO 12100-1.

If the provisions of this Type C standard are different from those of the Type A or Type B standards, the design and manufacturing shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of this Type C standard.

If the machine is installed, the provisions of this C-type standard shall be implemented in priority.

Safety of material power collection device for gardening machinery

1 Scope

This standard gives the safety requirements for the design and structure of material power collection devices used for agriculture, horticulture and regional maintenance (landscaping).

Summation method. This standard applies to suspended, semi-suspended or traction machinery for gardening.

This standard specifies methods for eliminating and reducing mechanical hazards when the material collection system is used as intended.

This standard does not involve environmental hazards, road safety, electromagnetic compatibility, power output shafts (PTO), power output drive shaft protection devices or

Control requirements.
