1 Scope
This standard specifies the thermal balance, thermal efficiency measurement and calculation methods of brick and tile industrial tunnel kilns.
This standard applies to industrial tunnel kilns for the production of brick and tile products.

3 Terms and definitions

3.1 Heat balance
The total heat input of the brick and tile industrial tunnel kiln is equal to the total heat output.
3.2 Heat efficiency
The ratio of the effective use of heat to the heat supplied by the brick and tile industry tunnel kiln.
3.3 Internal fuel carbonaceousmaterialsaddedtorawmaterials
Materials used in the production of bricks and tiles that can provide heat for roasting.
3.4 Externalfuel
All materials that can provide heat except raw materials required for the production of bricks and tiles.
