Foreword

This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This Standard replaces GB/T 3900-2012 "Tyre valve series", Compared with

GB/T 3900-2012, the main technical changes in this Standard are as follows.

- according to ISO 9413.2012, modified graphic drawing and dimensioning (see

Clause 4, Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 8, Figure 9, Figure 15, Figure 17, Figure

19, Figure 40, Figure 41, Figure 48 of this Edition; Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 8,

Figure 9, Figure 15, Figure 17, Figure 19, Figure 36, Figure 37, Figure 42 of

Edition 2012);

- added CF06 valve (see Clause 4, Figure 14);

- modified dimensional tolerance of snap-in valve (see Clause 4, Figure 32

of this Edition; Figure 32 of Edition 2012);

- added CQ51C TPMS snap-in valve (see Clause 4, Figure 35);

- added CQ52C TPMS snap-in valve (see Clause 4, Figure 36);

- added CQ21C TPMS compression valve (see Clause 4, Figure 38);

- added CQ22C TPMS compression valve (see Clause 4, Figure 39);

- added CP12C~CP15C, DP26C~DP28C compression type tubeless valves

(see Clause 4, Figure 45);

- added CP16C, CP17C compression type tubeless valves (see Clause 4,

Figure 46);

- modified the model of DP15C valve to DP06 (see Clause 4, Figure 47 of

this Edition; Clause 4, Figure 41 of Edition 2012);

- added provisions on product chassis diameter (see Clause 4, Figure 52);

- added DS01 valve (see Clause 4, Figure 60);

- added ES01 valve (see Clause 4, Figure 61);

- added CY01~CY03 series extension tubes (see Clause 4, Figure 76~Figure

78);

- added DY01~DY04 series extension tubes (see Clause 4, Figure 79);

- added DY05~DY08 series extension tubes (see Clause 4, Figure 80);

- added DY09-T, DY10-T, DY11-T series TPMS extension tubes (see Clause

4, Figure 81~Figure 83);

- added EY01-T series TPMS extension tubes (see Clause 4, Figure 84);

- added HY01~HY03 series large core chamber extension tubes (see Clause

4, Figure 85~Figure 87);

- deleted B09C gasket (see Clause 4, Figure 68 of Edition 2012);

- deleted E08C hexagon nut (see Clause 4, Figure 69 of Edition 2012);

- added the maximum operating pressure of the valve and the recommended

installation torque of the compact tubeless valve (see Annex C of this

Edition, Annex C of Edition 2012).

This Standard uses redrafting method to modify and adopt ISO 9413.2012 "Tyre

valves - Dimensions and designation".

Compared with ISO 9413.2012, this Standard is structurally adjusted. Annex A

lists the comparison on clauses and subclauses between this Standard and ISO

9413.2012.

Compared with ISO 9413.2012, there are technical differences in this Standard.

The clauses involved in these differences have been identified by vertical single

lines (︱) in the margins of their outer margins. Annex B gives a list of the

technical differences between this Standard and ISO 9413.2012 and their

causes.

This Standard also made the following editorial modifications.

- used "Tyre valve series" to replace the name of ISO 9413.2012 "Tyre valves

- Dimensions and designation".

This Standard was proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry

Federation.

This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee

on Tyres and Rims of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 19).

Tyre valve series

1 Scope

This Standard specifies model marks, structure types and size specifications of

tyre valve (hereinafter referred to as "the valve").

2 Normative references

The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of

this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated

references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any

amendments) applies.

3 Model marks

The model marks of product shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 21285.

See Annex C for the comparison of domestic and foreign models of the valve

and parts.

4 Structure types and size specifications

The adaptation type of the valve core chamber shall comply with the provisions

of Annex D.
