Introduction

The purpose of using machine-readable cards in the field of health care is to improve the quality of health services and the efficiency of the use of health care resources. this

The primary consideration of the standard is to improve patient services, ensure patient safety, and improve the actual use of health cards in the clinical field.

This standard does not involve the standardization of medical clinical practice and the definition of the standardized structure of healthcare services.

In the past few years, in order to support the implementation of health services, many countries have put necessary and applicable information on the surface of health cards to make health

The card can be used to exchange healthcare data. However, as people cross-border activities more and more frequently, a certain country or region issues

The use of health cards in other countries or regions is also increasing. In view of the above considerations, this standard has been

Conca's application on an international scale.

The establishment of this standard is to accept the craftsmanship and recording technology related to the production of the card, and to confirm the medical care application provider and health card

The identity of the holder, so that the issued card can be used to exchange information in health services.

The physical characteristics and recording techniques in this standard are directly quoted or referenced to current international standards/national standards.

This standard mainly focuses on ID-1 type machine readable cards defined in GB/T 14916.This type of machine readable card is designed to cross two or more countries
