Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard uses the redrafting method to modify and adopt ISO 16020.2005 "Steel Terms for Reinforced Concrete and Prestressed Concrete".
There are technical differences between this standard and ISO 16020.2005, and the clauses involved in these differences have been passed on the outer margin
The placed vertical single line (|) is marked, and Appendix A gives a list of corresponding technical differences and their causes.
This standard also made the following editorial changes.
--- Deleted the French text of ISO 16020.2005 and the equivalent terms in German, Spanish and Norwegian;
--- Deleted the informative appendix A of ISO 16020.2005 "Sample manufacturing process of rebar".
This standard was proposed by China Iron and Steel Association.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Steel Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC183).
This standard was drafted by. China Metallurgical Construction Research Institute Co., Ltd., Metallurgical Industry Information Standards Institute, Shiheng Special Steel Group Co., Ltd.,

1 Scope
This standard defines relevant terms and definitions for steel for reinforced concrete.
This standard applies to steel bars and prestressed steel products for reinforced concrete.
2 Terms and definitions
2.1 Type
2.1.1
Reinforced concrete steel bars reinforcement for reinforcementofconcret
Wires or rods applied in an untensioned state to improve the tensile or compressive capacity of concrete structures.
2.1.2
Ordinary hot-rolled steel bars hotroledbars
Rebar delivered in hot rolled condition.
2.1.3
Hot-rolled fine-grained steel bars hotroledbarsoffinegrains
In the process of hot rolling, the fine-grained steel bars formed by controlled rolling and controlled cooling process have a grain size of 9 or finer.
2.1.4
Cold-rolled ribbed bar coldeledribbedbars
After cold rolling, the hot-rolled wire rods have steel bars with horizontal ribs evenly distributed along the length direction.
2.1.5
High ductility cold-rolled ribbed bar coldeledribbedbarswithimprovedelongation
Cold rolled ribbed steel bars with high ductility obtained by hot rolling round rods through cold rolling forming and tempering heat treatment.
2.1.6
Waste heat treatment reinforcement quenching and self-temperingribbedbars
After hot rolling, the surface treatment cooling is carried out by the principle of heat treatment, and the finished steel bar obtained by tempering treatment is completed by using the residual heat of the core.
A ring-shaped quenched self-tempering structure is formed on the base circle.
2.1.7
Corrosion resistance reinforcement bars
According to the different types of rebar use environment, such as industrial atmospheric corrosion environment and chloride ion corrosion environment, add an appropriate amount of corrosion resistance to steel
Alloying elements, such as Cu, P, Cr, Ni, Mo, RE, etc., make it have corrosion resistance, and are delivered in hot rolled or controlled rolling controlled cooling conditions.
2.1.8
High corrosion resistance alloy reinforcement highcorrosionresistancealoyrebars
A certain amount of corrosion-resistant alloy elements, such as Cr, Mo, Cu, Sn, etc., are added to the steel to make it a steel bar with high corrosion resistance.
2.1.9
Stainless steel reinforcement stainless steelbars
Rebar with the main features of stainless and corrosion resistance.
