1 Scope
This standard specifies the general requirements for performance testing and inspection of electromagnetic acoustic transducers for ultrasonic testing, technical indicators

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 12604.1, GB/T 27664.2 and GB/T 34885 and the following apply to this document.
3.1 Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducer
Electromagnetic acoustic transducer that excites and receives ultrasonic body waves (transverse waves, longitudinal waves).
3.2 Bias magnetic field
Provide an external magnetic field for the electromagnetic acoustic transducer to work.
Note. The types of bias magnetic field are permanent magnet and electromagnet.
3.3 Transducer data sheet EMATdatasheet
A table describing the performance parameters of the transducer.
Note. The transducer data sheet is not used as a test certificate for the performance of a single transducer.
3.4 Lift-off
The distance between the detection surface of the front end of the electromagnetic acoustic transducer and the surface of the tested workpiece.
3.5 Operating temperature range
It can detect the temperature range of the tested object normally.
