3.101 Anti-kickback device
A device that allows the workpiece to move in the sawing direction while reducing the possibility of the workpiece moving quickly in the direction opposite to the feed.
3.102 Bevelangle
The angle at which the plane of the saw blade is inclined to the table surface. The position of the saw blade plane perpendicular to the table surface is regarded as the 0° tilt angle position.
3.103 Crosscutting
A sawing operation in which a cross saw is used to guide the workpiece by the fence.
Note. For natural wood, the cross saw is mainly used in the direction perpendicular to the wood grain; for engineering materials, the cross saw is used in the direction perpendicular to the length of the workpiece.
3.104 Cuttingcapacity
When the saw blade is set at any cutting depth at the position of an inclination angle of 0°, the height of the highest tooth tip of the saw blade above the table.
