1 Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for the stability, strength and durability of office work chairs. This standard gives the test force value, cycle times

Counting guidance.

Test methods are developed for products that have been fully assembled and ready for use.

The dimensions in the test method only apply to office work chairs for adults.

The test methods include forces acting on different components, simulating various uses of office work chairs during normal use and foreseeable misuse

Usage status.

The test method is used to evaluate the performance of office work chairs without regard to product materials, structural design and production process.

The test result is only valid for the tested sample. When the test results need to be used for other similar products, then the test sample can represent a certain production
