1 Scope
This standard specifies the determination of the thermal resistance of adult sleeping bags used in sports and leisure activities and the calculation method of the use temperature.
This standard applies to the evaluation of the thermal insulation performance of sleeping bags under steady-state conditions.

3.1 Comfortable temperature

3.2 Limit temperature

When using a sleeping bag, the human body is in thermal equilibrium while maintaining a deflated posture, and the appropriate lower temperature limit is felt.
3.3 Extreme temperature

When using a sleeping bag, the lower temperature limit of the human body due to low body temperature.
3.4 Comfortable high temperature

When using a sleeping bag, part of the body is not covered by the sleeping bag, the human body sweats less and feels the appropriate upper temperature limit.
3.5 Thermal manikin
It is used to measure the heat transfer through the sleeping bag under steady-state conditions, to simulate human body shape and human body heat production model.
