3.1 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 13966-2013 and the following apply to this document.

3.1.1 Entityanalyticalinstrument

Physical instrument

Analytical instruments connected to the network.

3.1.2 Virtual analytical instrument

Virtual instrument

The agent of the physical instrument in the network.

3.1.3 Instrumentmapper

Mapper

A software-intensive system that implements data binding between physical and virtual instruments.

3.1.4 Analytical instrument analysis

Measurement and analysis of analytical instruments, control collaboration, data sharing, and management are achieved through the network.
