1 Scope

This document specifies the application, inspection, and training of off-road slewing telescopic forklifts (hereinafter referred to as "forklifts") as defined in ISO 10896-2.

Requirements for training, maintenance, repair, and safe operation (hereinafter referred to as "safe use").

Other parts of GB/T 38055 cover non-rotating forklifts, rough terrain forklifts, and integrated manpower units that can be mounted on rough terrain forklifts.

The platform connection device, and the safety requirements for using off-road forklifts to lift freely swinging loads.

This document does not apply to truck-mounted forklifts and mobile cranes.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in ISO 10896-2 and ISO 11525-1, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.
