Scope

GB/T 38043-2019 (Vacuum cleaners for commercial use - Methods for measuring performance) is available as an English-translated PDF.

GB/T 38043-2019 — This standard applies to commercial vacuum cleaners. The purpose of this standard is to specify the basic performance characteristics of the vacuum cleaner that the user is concerned with and to describe methods for measuring these characteristics. Note. Due to environmental conditions, time changes, testing materials and the level of operation, the same experiment is performed at the same time when multiple appliance comparison tests are performed. The chamber is tested by the same operator and most of the test methods will yield more reliable results. For safety requirements, see IEC 60335-1, IEC 60335-2-2 and IEC 60335-2-69.
