This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard uses the translation method equivalent to ISO 8624.2011 "Ophthalmic optical frames measurement methods and terminology".

This standard has made the following editorial changes.

--- In order to adapt to China's technical standards system, the standard name was changed to "glasses frame measurement system and terminology";

--- Incorporating the International Standard Amendment Amd.1.2015, the terms of the amendment have been passed in the margins of the outer side of the margin

This standard defines the measurement system and related terms of the spectacle frame.

This standard applies to the front frame symmetrical frame.

Box method center boxedcentre

The intersection of the horizontal centerline of the rectangular frame and the vertical centerline of the lens shape.

Box method lens horizontal size horizontalboxedlenssize

Lens horizontal size horizontalallenssize

The distance between the two vertical sides of a rectangular frame that is tangent to the shape of the lens.

Note. If the frame has a significant mirror circle curvature, measure the horizontal size of the lens according to the plane shape of the lens.

Lens vertical size verticallenssize

The shape of the lens is tangent to the distance between the two horizontal edges of the rectangular frame.

The distance between the center of the box method of the left and right lenses.

Note. For the frame with a sharp curvature on the mirror ring, mark the center of the box of the lens with the appropriate base curve on the frame, and then measure the mark on the back surface of the left and right lenses.

Inter-chip distance distancebetweenlenses

The left and right lens shapes are tangent to the horizontal distance between the rectangular sides of the rectangular frame on the nose side.
